This class is geared toward the intermediate/advanced student.
In the tradition of classical yoga it consists of the primary asanas and moves on to give a flavor of intermediate and advanced ashtanga yoga. Backbends and inversions are a integral part of the practice. Postures are held up to 10 breaths giving the student time to focus on both the internal mental and external physical movement.
It is a physically and mentally challenging class for intermediate students who will learn to proceed to the advanced level.
Modifications are offered within the context of a faster paced class.
The temperature in the studio is kept at a comfortable level consistent with outside weather conditions.
