Dhyana has been teaching Vinyasa Yoga since 2007. After completing the 200 Hour Teacher Training, she obtained certificate in Yoga Therapy for Anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), Yoga for the Special Child, and Restorative Yoga. In May, 2017, she completed the 800 Hour Certification with Integrative Yoga Therapy. Dhyana is also a Certified International Yoga Therapist, C-IAYT.
She guides her students in safe sequences using props, tutorials and modifications, as needed. Dhyana’s goal is to improve the health and well being of her clients by incorporating yoga philosophy and yoga therapeutic techniques to both relax and strengthen the body, mind and spirit. Some of these techniques encompass an array of Body Scans, Pranayama, Asana, Restorative Yoga, Somatics, Joint Freeing Series, Yoga Nidra, Mudras, Visualization, Guided Imagery, Meditation and Positive Affirmations.
Dhyana’s workshops include: Yoga for Anxiety, Yoga for Osteoporosis, Chakra Scan: An Introspective Workshop and A Journey through the Koshas.
