Iyengar Yoga is based on alignment of the body and precision in the poses. It is, therefore, an ideal method of starting or re-starting the practice of yoga in a scientific way. It is also aimed to those looking for a slower paced yoga practice that will bring mobility and strength to the neck, shoulders, spine, and legs, and will open the chest. This is a gently paced Iyengar yoga course that utilizes the support of props to aid in the cultivation of stability, balance, and mobility of the full body. The use of props and precision in instruction aid in helping the practitioner bring awareness to the physical body.
