Denese Cavanaugh instructs the following:
IPATH Restorative Yoga
This is just the restorative yoga class you need to release fascia, lengthen muscles and align your body, which will ultimately eliminate pain. IPATH yoga, (Integral Postural Alignment Techniques) typically makes the best use of 5-6 supine poses. This holistic practice begins with the heart opener moving the body slowly, gently, and very mindfully until the first layer of resistance is felt, practicing ahmisa, or non-violence for the body. Myofascial Release (MFR) is extremely helpful in reducing back pain, restoring motion and flexibility of the entire spine by treating the front and back three-dimensionally and the associated pelvis which is considered to be the foundation of the spine. Using yoga blocks and yoga balls, compressions are part of the focus, that will ultimately decompress the spine. Come in with pain, walk away healthier, rejuvenated and pain free!
All levels and those with injuries are invited to attend.

R&R with IPATH Yoga
INDULGE YOURSELF--YOU DESERVE IT--REST AND RESTORE YOURSELF
IPATH yoga, Integral Postural Alignment Therapeutics, prepares the body to meet the mind with a sequence of five restorative poses that “self” adjust and correct the body’s alignment, ameliorating back/body pain.
Our posture deteriorates and joints become restricted and our muscles tighten and stress. The imbalances, stiffness and loss of motion lead to pain signals throughout the body.
Positioned on your back in the heart opener pose, IPATH yoga instills relaxation and peace; and layer after layer the body releases tension beginning with facial release, spreading throughout the body. All muscles release. That allows the bones to passively align and “self” correct. This mindful transformation is based on body cues that encourages the body heal within. Soft IPATH® balls are used for passive compressions that further releases tension, improves circulation, balance and gives freedom from lower back/body challenges.
