Hal Ponder, an attorney and former diplomat, is a yoga teacher certified by the Yoga Alliance. He practices Sivananda yoga, which derives from Hatha yoga.

In addition to traditional yoga, Mr. Ponder also conducts classes in chair yoga and yoga for cancer patients.
